| On Friday, February 13, representatives from CDHA went to Cuyahoga Community College Metro Campus to the Dental Hygiene Clinic in order to present this year's Barbara J. Schnurr Scholarship. The scholarship, in the amount of $250 was presented to Rita Kolarik, a second year student. | ||

The Cleveland Dental Hygienists' Association will again have a booth in the Exhibit Hall during NCSM this year. The dates are Thursday and Friday, May 7-8 at the I-X Center. Our booth number is 115. If you are there with your office or participating on your own, please stop by and say hello! The exhibit hall will be open Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-4. Remember, you need to be registered for the event in order to be given permission to enter the Exhibit Hall. Your badge is your ticket to enter. Check the Greater Cleveland Dental Society website at www.gcds.org for event information.
We will have membership information as well as some fundraisers at our booth and hopefully be able to answer any questions or concerns you might have about the practice of dental hygiene in Ohio. There might even be a FREE GIFT for you if you mention it from reading this on our website. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! |
| Fabulous February and March CE |

Well, CDHA is now on break from having our CE classes until September 2009. We will be electing new officers and doing all the program planning from now until the information is distributed in our August issue of "hygiene now". The 4 CEs that we presented in September and October of 2008 as well as February and March in 2009 were all wonderful and very well attended. Even the snow (in Feb) couldn't keep us away!
We will make every attempt to follow the outstanding examples set by Shannon Nanne, RDH as our CE Coordinator for the past 2 years. Watch for the future CE information in our August newsletter. |
