Continuing Education
Sinclair Community College Dental Hygiene Program announces a NEW "DAYTIME" EFDA Program. The start date will be 9/8/2008. The part-time program will run all day on Wednesdays during the fall, winter and spring quarters. They will be accepting 20 students who are Certified Dental Assistants or Registered Dental Hygienists. The pre-requisite is DEH 104 which is offered Summer B-term only. For any questions or to apply to the program, please call the Dental Hygiene office at 937-512-2779. ALSO a Certified Dental Assisting program is coming in the future! DDHA Delegates for Annual Session

DDHA is proud to have such dedicated members.

Community Service
Donate Your Time The Good Neighbor House is seeking volunteer dental hygienists to work Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 pm. Call 224-3442 and talk to Darlene. Here are the available dates for January and February. January 3, 10, 17, 29. February 5, 7, 21, 28. Volunteers are also needed to sharpen instruments for the Good Neighbor House. Thank You.

The Dayton Dental Hygienists' Association is collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste and other oral hygiene items to donate to St. Vincent de Paul and the VA Hospital. These items will be distributed to men, women, children, the elderly and veterans who are in need. Please look through your offices for any items not being used (even expired toothpaste can be used) or ask your DDS for a donation. We will collect the items at the DDHA Meetings. Pick up can also be arranged by contacting Roxanne Brittain at 937-233-6902 or txbrittain@hotmail.com.
